Team Sponsorships
CSBC will make its best effort to secure Team Sponsorships for teams opting to be sponsored.

Team Sponsorship is optional, and teams must indicate on the entry form that your team desires to be sponsored. Sponsorships will be filled only to the first 25 teams that complete a valid entry form. Every effort will be made to fill all requests, however not all requests may be filled. The sponsorship monies will only be paid to those in attendance on the day of judging.

Team Responsibilities:

Welcome Sponsor as honorary team member.
Allow Sponsor’s sign at your cook-site.
Team sets rules of Sponsor participation.

Sponsor Responsibilities:

Follow rules as set forth by Team Leader. Sponsors make a donation to the event of which $200 is paid to the Sponsored Team.

FEES

Entry Fee (All 4 categories) $200

CSB provided generator + $200

Extra Full Space + $50

CSB will not assess additional fees to competitors that are also vending. CSB allows competitor vendors to keep 100% of sales. However, competitor vendors are required to have a generator. You can either bring your own generator or one will be provided to you at a cost of $200.

SPACE:

The event is taking place at Loudy Simpson Park. Space is not a serious concern, but
the event must be managed to insure good flow of the various activities planned. Team spaces are
30’ deep and 20’ wide priced at $200. Additional adjacent spaces can be purchased for $50. You
may park your RV or Trailer or vehicle in your space provided you remain within the assigned
space footprint.

NEIGHBORING TEAM PREFERENCE (Indicate your top three choices):

We ask that you trust us to place your team in the best possible location for your size and needs.
We will do everything we can to accommodate your preference with regard to neighboring teams
and special circumstances. Consideration will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Thank
you for your understanding.

ICE: CSBC will provide six bags of ice to each team. CSBC will provide one 15 AMP electric service to each paid participant.

RELEASE: This release must be signed and returned with payment or entry will not be accepted.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: In consideration of your accepting this entry, I, the undersigned, intending
to be legally bound, hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive all rights and
release any and all rights and claims for damages against the Colorado State BBQ Championship at
Craig Competition, their representatives, successors, and assigns, for any and all injuries suffered
by me in this event. Further, I grant full permission to the Colorado State BBQ Championship at
Craig and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures,
recordings and any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the
2012 Rules and Regulations of the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
